Moving image: a MacBook, an iPad and a foldable iPhone float above a sea in evening light. On the MacBook, a sentence is being finished in the note “Ideas for the new flat”, and the line lights up. A warm point of light flies to the iPad, where the same sentence is already there; a sparkling trail runs across it. Then the iPhone unfolds and shows the same note, with the trail running across the sentence there too.

Pages, plans, ideas. On all your Apple devices.

A notebook made of pages and blocks – for Mac, iPad and iPhone, synced through your iCloud, no account needed.

01 Writing

Just write.

Every line is a block: a slash opens the menu, and you drag a block by its handle to another spot. Pages link to each other, and each one shows what links to it.

Tackbook on the Mac: on the left the sidebar with Today, To-dos, Calendar, Favourites, Daily notes and the page tree; on the right the page “Moving to Leipzig” with a note about moving day and tasks grouped by deadline, three of them done, some with due dates.
Pages within pages
A page tree with subpages and favourites, and spaces for personal and work.
Everything is a block
Text, tasks, quotes, images, files, web pages and link previews.
Templates and styles
Meeting, project, weekly plan – and eight document styles from Serif to Night.

02 Organising

Lists become tables.

Give a page columns and see the same entries as a table, board, cards or calendar. Every row is a page again, one you can keep writing in.

The database “Reading list” on the Mac as a table: eight books with author, status as coloured tags (Read, Reading, Unread), genre, page count and date finished; above it the Table and Board views, Filter and Sort.
Your own views
Save filters like “Open” or “This week” as views of their own.
Whiteboard
A free canvas for notes, shapes and arrows – with your pages on it.
Freehand
On iPad and iPhone you draw on the whiteboard with Apple Pencil or your finger; the Mac shows the drawing.

03 Your day

Your day starts with Today.

Every day has its note: what’s coming up, what was discussed, what’s done. Tasks from all your pages gather in one place and remind you at the right time.

The daily note for Friday, 9 October 2026 on the Mac: notes on the team meeting at 9:30 and the dentist at 14:00, in between four tasks for today, one done, one with a reminder at 17:30.

04 AI you can trace

Claude writes along. You see what.

On the Mac, Claude Desktop and Claude Code read and write in your pages via MCP. Apple Intelligence, Siri and the in-app chat do so on all your devices. Every change carries a mark, names its source and can be undone.

The page “Handover with the letting agent” on the Mac: Claude has added a summary and two tasks, marked in violet in the margin. At the top right, “AI changes · 1” opens the AI activity list with Claude’s entry “Blocks appended” at 9:11 and the button “Mark all as reviewed”.

Read and create pages, fill tables, write in the daily note – on the Mac.
Apple Intelligence
Writing Tools in every block, translating and shortening, tasks from text – on device.
Chat and Siri
The chat answers questions about your pages and only writes once you say okay; Siri and Shortcuts create pages and tasks.

05 Yours

Your pages belong to you.

They live on your devices and sync through your iCloud, end-to-end encrypted with Advanced Data Protection. No account, no Tackbook server – and you can take them with you as Markdown or PDF at any time.

Tackbook on an iPhone: the page “Moving to Leipzig” full screen with its tasks.
Mac, iPad and iPhone
Built for each device. With enough room, sidebar and page sit side by side – on the unfolded iPhone Duo too.
Offline first
Everything works without a connection and syncs later.
One purchase · Planned
Tackbook is coming to the App Store as one purchase for Mac, iPad and iPhone.

We’ll test Tackbook on the iPhone Duo itself as soon as we have one.

06 Questions

What you want to know.

Anything else? Write to [email protected] – you’ll hear back from the people building Tackbook.

How much will Tackbook cost?

We’ll share the price once it’s set – people on the waitlist hear it first. Tackbook is coming to the App Store, with one purchase for Mac, iPad and iPhone.

When will Tackbook be released?

We’ll name a date only once we can keep it. Until then, we’ll only write when there’s something to show.

Do I need AI to use Tackbook?

No. Tackbook is a notebook first and works without any AI. You use Claude, Apple Intelligence and the chat only if you want to.

What does the AI see of my pages?

Apple Intelligence runs on your device. Claude reads only what it requests through the MCP server, and only if you’ve set it up. If you add a cloud model with your own key for the chat, Tackbook asks before sending anything for the first time, because then your question and the pages it read leave the device. Tackbook itself sends nothing to servers of its own. The mark shows where a change came from – not whether it’s right.

Do I need an account?

No. Tackbook uses your Apple ID through iCloud. There is no Tackbook account or Tackbook server, and no analytics or tracking library is built in.

Can I work on pages together with others?

No. Tackbook is a personal notebook; collaborative editing and publishing to the web aren’t planned.

Be there when it starts.

Tackbook is in development. Sign up, and we’ll get in touch as soon as you can try it.
